E-Z Movers Inc. will use the best methods possible to protect your goods. While relocating nearly 4,000 people annually, only 3% of our local moves and 5% overall result in a damage claim, most of which are minor claims that are easily repaired or resolved. Unfortunately, despite great care, there is always a remote possibility that some damage may occur. E-Z Movers Inc. offers our customers two coverage options.

Limited Liability:

As a licensed common carrier with the ICC, we are required to provide limited liability coverage, free of charge.

• Local Moves: In the event of damage or loss, the maximum liability of the carrier is limited to $0.30 per pound, per article.
• Long Distance Moves: In the event of damage or loss, the maximum liability of the carrier is limited to $0.60 per pound, per article.

Declared Value Protection:

Additional coverage can be purchased through an outside agency. E-Z Movers has working relationships with Baker International and movinginsurance.com which you may contact for quotes on replacement value protection. We suggest that all our clients check with their homeowners or renters insurance carriers as they may already have coverage for relocation. You may also use another third party moving insurance company of your choosing.
